We traveled to the Great Southwestern Arabian Spooktacular in Houston with Damali for our daughter Katie's first dressage show. We'd like to congratulate them both for their wins in training level JTR and ATR with both scores placing in the top five for the entire show.
We look forward to introducing our newest foal Zalima during next year's competition. She is stunning and we expect her to follow in her sisters footsteps.
JULY 2011
Shadow Dancer Arabians has just completed another sucessful Region 9 Sport Horse Championship Show. This year we took our two year old filly, Zaffyre, to compete in the Sport Horse In-Hand classes. She had no problem following in her sister's footsteps as Champion!!!! Zaffyre was Champion filly 2 and under, Champion Mare 2 and Over and tied for Champion Mare 2 and over ATH( after tie breaker we received reserve championship). We are very excited about this young mare.

We have just returned from the Alamo Arabian Fiesta in San Antonio, Texas where Zaffyre and Mark won the purebred sport horse mare open class and were over all Champion Purebred Sport Horse Mare!!! This is the 3rd year in a row that a Shadow Dancer Arabian bred mare has won this championship class. Damali won in 2009, Zakkarah in 2010 and this year Zaffyre took the honors. We are very proud of Zaffyre and Mark and are looking forward to Region 9 Sport Horse Championships in July where we will be defending the three regional championships that Zakkarah won last year. Wish us luck!

We took Zakkarah to the 2010 AHA Region 9 Sport Horse Championships on 7/15/10. We know she is very special, but she exceeded our expectations. She won the pure bred filly jackpot class and we entered her into the pure bred mare open and ATH classes for the experience. The surprising part came when she won both the open and amatuer pure bred mare championships as a two year old. WOW!!!
